•  does not read as a flag but as a logo on a red field (Arby’s)

•  often confused as the flag for the Calgary Stampede

•  lacks emotion and spirit (pride)

•  lacks impact and resonance (memorability)

•  indistinguishable from the flag of Canada when hung on a flagpole
